This website is run by the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty team, hosted by Suffolk County Council.
We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

Contacting us by phone or visiting us in person
Suffolk County Council provide a text relay service for people who are D/deaf, hearing impaired or have a speech impediment.
Visits in person to the AONB office are by appointment. We may offer an alternative meeting point using one of Suffolk County Council’s offices which have audio induction loops, or if you contact Suffolk County Council before your visit they can arrange a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter.

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
Some images have text within the image, such as graphs and tables. When we publish new content we’ll make sure our use of images meets accessibility standards.
Some of our documents to not have meaningful file names and titles. We plan to add meaningful file names for all documents by February 2021.
Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
Several PDF documents are not are not fully accessible to screen reader software. Some of our PDFs and Word documents are essential to providing our services. For example, we have PDFs with information on how users can access our services, and forms published as Word documents. By July 2021, we plan to either fix these or replace them with accessible HTML pages.
The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they’re not essential to providing our services. For example, we do not plan to fix The Volume and Value of Tourism Report 2015 (PDF). We will ensure that new documents that are essential are accessible where they are required for essential services or used by people with disabilities.
